Julien has a lot of things to do in town today. He has a long list: the bank, the post office, the town hall, the police station, and the library.

First, he goes to the bank. He wants to open an account, so he fills in a form at the counter. A woman helps him with the documents.

Now, he has a bank account at this bank. He withdraws money to pay the rent for his new apartment.

To open the account, the lady asks for proof of address. She also explains how to make a bank transfer. Julien is happy, because he doesn't like writing cheques. At the cash machine, he types in his new PIN.

He also signs a contract for the apartment. There is insurance in the contract. Julien reads each page before signing.

Julien puts his signature at the bottom of the last page. Signing a contract is important!

Next, he goes to the post office. He has a bill to send and a letter for his mother. The employee takes the letter and the bill, and calculates the price.

He also sends a parcel to his brother. He buys stamps and a big envelope, and sends an important document by registered letter. He has to queue for twenty minutes.

Then, he goes to the town hall. He needs a new ID card and a passport for his trip to Spain. He waits his turn at the counter.

When he leaves the town hall, he sees a fine on his car. He is not happy. He also goes to the police station to report the loss of his driving licence.

A police officer listens to his story and notes all the details. He gives Julien a new number for his file.

Julien has one more thing to do. He looks for his library card in his bag, because he wants to borrow a new book. Luckily, losing his licence didn't include this card!

In his bag, he also finds the post office receipt for a parcel. He keeps it safe in his wallet.

Finally, Julien goes to the library. He returns a book and takes a new one. He is tired, but happy: his list is finally finished!
