Hugo et Lucie ont fini leurs examens. Ils planifient un weekend à la montagne pour fêter ça.
- Hugo: Lucie, j'ai une idée pour fêter la fin des examens. On part à la montagne ce weekend ? — Lucie, I have an idea to celebrate the end of exams. Shall we go to the mountains this weekend?
- Lucie: Oh, j'adore l'idée ! Mais où exactement ? — Oh, I love the idea! But where exactly?
- Hugo: Il y a un petit chalet à louer près de Grenoble. J'ai vu des photos, c'est magnifique. — There's a small chalet to rent near Grenoble. I've seen photos — it's beautiful.
- Lucie: C'est loin d'ici ? — Is it far from here?
- Hugo: Environ deux heures de voiture. On peut partir vendredi soir après les cours. — About two hours by car. We can leave Friday evening after class.
- Lucie: Super ! Qu'est-ce qu'il faut apporter ? — Great! What do we need to bring?
- Hugo: Des vêtements chauds, des chaussures de marche et de la nourriture pour les repas. — Warm clothes, walking shoes, and food for the meals.
- Lucie: Je peux faire les courses vendredi matin. Qu'est-ce que tu aimes manger ? — I can do the shopping Friday morning. What do you like to eat?
- Hugo: Tout ! Mais j'aimerais bien faire une fondue le soir. — Everything! But I'd love to make a fondue in the evening.
- Lucie: Excellente idée ! Et le samedi, on va se promener en forêt ? — Excellent idea! And on Saturday, shall we go for a walk in the forest?
- Hugo: Oui, et j'ai trouvé un lac à vingt minutes du chalet. On peut y aller. — Yes, and I found a lake twenty minutes from the chalet. We can go there.
- Lucie: Parfait. Je suis vraiment contente — on en a besoin après tous ces examens ! — Perfect. I'm really happy — we need this after all those exams!
