Le Weekend en Plein Air
Planning a camping trip around the weather forecast
— Nina, I checked the weather for this weekend. Saturday will be lovely and sunny!
- Nina: Super ! Et dimanche ? — Great! And Sunday?
— Sunday will be less good — there'll be clouds and it might rain.
- Nina: Hmm. — Hmm. We could leave Saturday morning and come back Sunday before the rain?
— Exactly! We'll pitch the tent Saturday, do a hike, and sleep outside.
— And in the morning, it'll be cold in the tent, won't it?
— A bit. But there'll be sun from seven — it'll warm up quickly.
- Nina: D'accord. Qu'est-ce qu'on apportera à manger ? — OK. What will we bring to eat?
— I'll make a vegetable tart Friday evening. And can you bring fruit and bread?
— Yes, I'll stop by the bakery Saturday morning before we leave.
— And if it really rains Sunday, we'll sit in the car and listen to music.
- Nina: Parfait. — Perfect. A weekend outdoors, even in the rain, is always better than a weekend at home!
